I realized I never finished blogging #5kMay… It was a blast! Day 31s photo challenge was to celebrate so I asked a friend to join me for my last 5k and then we went out for ice cream.
She is an amazing pacer for easy runs. We ran almost the whole thing because she kept the pace. Thanks Kristen!
Life has been hectic for me this last year, but at the same time it has been such a blessing and I wouldn’t trade it for anything… now that it’s over.
God has taught me so much about Himself, especially through this challenge. I ran a local 5k race 8 days later and knocked five minutes off my time from my April race, which was exciting.
As for BSR, I’m still recovering from a traumatic family event, but hoping to add some freebies to the website. A discipleship devotional that I’ve done in the past with a few people and thought I lost it forever till I found it in an email. There is also a leader’s pdf on how to use the discipleship devotional.
There was a horse version of the same thing but I haven’t found that on my computer, only in print form, which will take a long time to add on here if I end up doing that.
Either way, thanks for sticking around during my recovery, I hope to start this ministry back up soon, though, I’ll probably end up going with the flow and not having a lot of plans 😉
