Was staying with someone this weekend and ran in a wonderful location. Life brings curve balls and with that a new training regimen and opportunity to become more like Christ.
I forgot to bring along my headphones so I was not able to listen to the scripture chapters for today while I ran, but I was reminded to focus on one day at a time.
With my right leg really bothering me I keep being tempted to give up early in the game, but the Lord keeps laying on my heart to take it one day at a time. I have a feeling that’s the way this whole month will be.
I just need to keep my thoughts focused on the one who loves me most and comforting myself with this saying from a friend…
“Even if… God is still good.”
It doesn’t matter what happens or whether God answers our prayers or not, God is always good!
