Hey there! We’ve been busily working behind the scenes with Be Still and Run and now we are finally ready to share with you what we have been up to! If the Lord wills, so many new things are just around the corner, and we are excited to see what God does in the future! Here are the things we have been working on:
Guest Post Applications and Guest Speaker Applications
We are opening up applications for guest posts and guest speakers for Be Still and Run’s blog and podcast. Our target audience is ladies aged 18+ who have a strong hunger to strengthen and grow in their relationship with their Creator. We have different topics you can apply for on the podcast, and the blog posts need to stay within the boundaries of encouraging people to run the Christian life WITH God. Check out the applications:
New Podcast Episodes
We’re stoked to be announcing that we will add some awesome Bonus episodes on our podcast called “Nuggets of Wisdom,” where we will interview older ladies asking them to share a little about their life and some things they wish they had known when they were younger! You don’t want to miss them as the Bible says that wisdom is irreplaceable.
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.Proverbs 4:5-9
If you’re not following us on the podcast, be sure to do so so you don’t miss any upcoming episodes. You can use the link below or find us on most podcast platforms.
Our First Give Away!
Just today we will have announced the winner of our first give away on social media, a $15 Amazon gift card! It was so much fun to do this and I’m sure the winner was just as excited! If you missed this give away, be sure to follow Alli Anne on FB and IG in order to not miss anything in the future.
The New FREE Easter Countdown Challenge
One of the most recent things we have been working on, of which you still have till March 16th to sign up, is our new 30 Day Run/Walk Reconciled Challenge! We designed this for you to “taste and see that the Lord is good” as Psalm 34:8 says. There are two tasks to accomplish each day (Sundays excluded for a complete rest if you’d like), which can be done in as little as 15 minutes as long as your heart motive is to really seek after God.
When Jesus came to earth, it was to reconcile us to the Father, drawing us into an intimate relationship with Him that satisfies our every need and longing.
What are the two tasks?? All you must do is spend some time in prayer using five specific journal prompts every day (which we have a free printable for you to download after you sign up!), followed by at least a 5 minute run or walk inviting God to go with you.
The entire challenge is free and well worth the effort as it has completely changed my life and I know it will do the same for you if done with the right motive. If you join the broadcasting WhatsApp group, I will also send out encouragements almost every day as videos, voice notes, and/or messages to keep you going strong throughout the entire challenge.
Our Program is Open for Sign Ups and Will Be Donation Only Based for First Timers
This program is 12 weeks long, not including the preliminary and follow up week. B2B is for ladies aged 18+ to take some time growing in their relationship with God in a community of like-minded believers in the comfort of their own home. Each week has five devotionals focusing on one of the 12 basics in running physically and spiritually, and we give you new training workouts each week, both building off of the week before.
Be Still and Run’s Signature Program has a Trailer!
This was so much fun to make and we hope that you love it just as much as we do! Check it out!
My First Half Marathon and Trail Race!
Training has taken weeks and I can’t wait to share what I learned through it all! Not only will it have been (I’m writing future tense here) my first trail race, it will have also been my first Half Marathon. I’ve run several 5k’s and one Full Marathon so I decided this year it was time to do a 10k and a Half.
After talking with some veteran runners and looking back on last year’s experiments, I can’t wait to share with you a lot of new techniques that I have added to my training. Of course, my body is not like yours, but hopefully in sharing some things that have been working for me, it will encourage you to experiment with your own training to find what works best for you and your body. I’ll be sharing some physical, mental, and spiritual exercises I have been working on which I feel my body has improved tremendously with, so stay tuned!
I hope you have a wonderful end of winter, it’s almost Springtime!!! See ya later and Happy Running!!
